First Sanya Culture Industry Expo to be held from December 10th-13th

A Press conference for the first Sanya Culture Industry Expo was held on September 6th, announcing that the 2015 expo will kick off on December 10th.


The Publicity Department of Sanya, Sun Su, gave a speech during the press conference. He said that hosting the expo meant a step forward for the city’s cultural development.


Accordingly, the First Sanya Culture Industry Expo will be held from December 10th to 13th. The main venue will be set up at the Sanya Bay Mangrove Tree Resort and Exhibition Center, with a total exhibition area of 12,000 square meters and 600 standard booths. Nine pavilions will be set up to showcase the expo’s themes, which this year include the following: Grand Sanya, One Belt and One Road, creative animation, movie and television intelligence, intangible cultural heritage and local culture, tourism culture, marine culture, sports and leisure culture, and Jingdezhen ceramic art.



Another eight sub venues will also be established at various locations: Sanya Song Dynasty Cultural Tourism Resort, Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone, Sanya Conch Girl Creative Cultural Park, Sanya Animation Industry Base, Tianyahaijiao Scenic Spot, Visun Royal Yacht Club, and Yalong Bay Rose Valley.


Zhou Chengquan, director of the organization committee, said that more than 100 enterprises and companies showed great interest in the expo. At present, a number of cultural industry exhibitors from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Thailand, South Korean and other Southeast Asian countries have confirmed their participation in the expo.


A series of forums, themes, signing ceremonies, product experience events, and entertainment events will be held during the expo.


Two mascots for the First Sanya Culture Industry Expo were unveiled during the press conference named “Oh Hi” and “Oh Yeah,” representing the themes of “Coastal Sanya” and “Green Sanya” respectively.
