The ninth “Maritime Silk Road” Painting Exhibition is being held at JoYa International Hotel in Sanya. The event started on April 26th and will last until April 30th, 2018.
The event is sponsored and planned by the Publicity Department of the Sanya Municipal Government Committee and Beijing Ziya Art Gallery, and hosted by JoYa International Hotel in Sanya. The painting exhibition is open to the public for free.
The impressive art exhibition showcases more than 200 works of painting and calligraphy created by distinguished Chinese contemporary painters and calligraphers, including Li Jing, Gou Qizhi, Zhou Bengang, Tao Ji, Zhang Lijun, Wang Mingfang, and more. The works vividly showcase local customs and human history along the ancient Maritime Silk Road.

Since the painting and calligraphy exhibition’s debut in April 2014, the event has been held nine times with outstanding results, making it one of the most important cultural and art events in the city.
