About Wenmen Village 文门村
Located five kilometers north of Tianya District in Sanya, Wenmen Village is inhabited by tribes of Li and Miao minority ethnic groups. The village was once a destination for exiled officials and scholars.
Since 2011, thanks to financial support from the district government, the village has taken on a new look. Dilapidated houses have been repaired, and public facilities such as a square, inns, and farmhouses have been built. Many residents now live in new houses and have extra rooms they can use as home stays.
