7th China Rendez-Vous 2016 wraps up at Sanya Visun Times Coast
The annual China Rendez-Vous, the Seventh Edition of Yachts • Aviation • Luxury Lifestyle Exhibition, successfully concluded at Times Coast in Sanya on December 11th, 2016, after four days of exhibitions of some of the world’s finest yachts, business jets, automobiles, fine jewelry, art, and other premium lifestyle products from across the globe on display for flocks of elite, affluent visitors.
Yachting on the “Chinese Riviera”
Many world leading yacht brands appeared at the show among a wealth of other world-renowned brands.
Yachts including Azimut 80, Azimut 70 and Azimut 43 from leading yacht brand Azimut; Lagoon 620, Lagoon 39, Lagoon 450, Lagoon 560, Barracuda 9, Oceanis 48, Oceanis 55, Beneteau MC6 and Beneteau MC4 from Beneteau Group; Ferretti 550, Ferretti 650, Ferretti 840 and Ferretti Custom Line 112 from Ferretti Group; Prestige 550, Prestige 680, MF855, Jeanneau 54, Jeanneau 64, and SunFas from Jeanneau berthed at Visun Royal Yacht Marina.
Besides, JETSET Marine put Bavaria and Monterey yachts on display around a floating stage, including Bavaria Cruiser 41s, Bavaria Cruiser 34, Bavaria Sports 360HT, Bavaria 37, Monterey 328ss and Monterey 217BF.
Other acclaimed brands, including Jetpon Group, Simpson Marine, OMNIA Marine, and Sunseeker Asia, also joined the strong fleet to introduce supreme life style on the sea.
China Rendez-Vous 2016 was reportedly a great success for yacht builders, as orders for more than 30 yachts with a total value of about RMB 200 million were taken during the show.
Rui Ying Yacht, who made its first appearance at the show, reported that it has sold 20 yachts at the China Rendez-vous and Jetpon Group sold 5 yachts at the group trade signing ceremony on the second day of the event.
Quality life: premium brands of the luxury lifestyle shines in China
Luxury car brands including Bentley, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, and Maserati presented their latest models at the show. Bentley and Rolls Royce likewise reported communicating with several potential buyers at the show.
The organizing committee also introduced the event’s first China Camping and Culture Area as well as an indoor Luxury Lifestyle Area. Guests were able to experience camping culture and quality lifestyles through a rich collection of emerging products including recreational vehicles, tourism, arts, and fashion.

The German manufacturer of high-end home appliances Gaggenau, exclusively presented the VIP lounge, providing guests with lavish gourmet food prepared by a Michelin chef, while showing its latest innovative kitchen design.

Various activities related to the arts, yachting and golf were hosted during the event, expressing the diversity and richness of China Rendez-vous.
From the The King’s Feast to the Official Dinner and After Party; from the wonderful Exhibitors’ Night to the Golf Tournament and Awards Dinner, guests experienced the relentless pursuit of the ultimate luxury lifestyle.
Another highlight of the event was the unveiling of the “China Rendez-Vous Marina Project.” The unveiling ceremony was held at Visun Royal Hotel Grand Ballroom on December 11th. According to development planning, the China Rendez-Vous Marina Project is part of an effort to re-brand the glitzy area, which sharply contrasts against its backdrop of dozens of old fishing boats and dilapidated apartment buildings across the bay. The development plans aim to rebrand the area as a city core that integrates tourism, commerce, and leisure.
China Rendez-Vous, Where Art and Charity Meet
China Rendez-Vous has always been committed to putting more emphasis on charity and contribution to the society while promoting high-end lifestyles.
A charity event, the King’s Feast Art Gala, was held during China Rendez-Vous 2016, along with the annual China Rendez-Vous BLUE Plan to promote ocean protection via a series of education and advertising campaigns.
The gala dinner raised RMB 900,000 in total. The proceeds will be given to SHEEN HOK charity and the Operation Smile project. Operation Smile aims to help Chinese children who suffer from cleft lip through treatment and operations.
