Binglanggu Valley

Updated: 2018-02-24 09:50:06

The Hainan Binglanggu Li & Miao Cultural Heritage Park (Binglanggu Valley for short) is situated in the Ganzaling nature preservation area on the border of Sanya City and Baoting County, approximately 28 kilometers from Sanya.

The valley covers an area of about 339.3 square kilometers, and earns its name from the original local ethnic minority villages and the countless betel trees that extends several kilometers along the valley.

The valley consists of four major parts: the Original Gan Za Li Village (原甘什黎村), the Intangible Culture Heritage Village (非遗保护村), the Original Ecological Miao Village (雨林苗寨), and the Areca Ancient Rhyme (槟榔•古韵)– a live show of the native cultures of the Li and Miao ethnic people.
