New leading stomatological hospital planned in Haitang Bay
Sanya’s Haitang District will be the site of the latest branch of the Peking University Hospital of Stomatology. The Sanya government is working on accelerating the progress of the project.
According to the plan, the hospital will have a land area of 70,000 square meters. Construction on the new medical facility will begin in December 2019. Total investment in the facility will amount to RMB 500 million, and the construction period will last two years.
The new stomatological hospital in Sanya will be equipped with 150 dental treatment chairs, 100 beds, and other supporting facilities.
The Peking University Hospital of Stomatology is a top-ranked stomatological hospital in China. When the Sanya project is completed, it will provide operation and management, as well as medical personnel for the development of medical treatment and services in the region.
Sanya has been seeking opportunities in medical cooperation with other national and international medical institutions. More high-quality medical resources such as the Evergrande Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital and international outpatient departments will be built in the city, and international medical talents will be welcomed to lecture and practice medicine in Sanya.
