Among the participants will be many specialized purchasers and suppliers, including leading Chinese importers and exporters, large scale supermarkets, fruit specialty chain stores, and fresh produce e-commerce platforms.

A number of presentations on a wide range of topics will be held, such as how high-end mangoes can reach target audiences, and how to boost the popularity of the tropical fruit. The conference will also be a great opportunity for growers and traders to meet, learn, and share experiences—and to ultimately increase the awareness of Sanya’s mango brand and improve the overall level of the mango industry in Sanya.

At the 2017 China Fruit Brands Fair, the Sanya Mango was included on the list of China’s top fruit brands for 2017 (Sanya Mango’s brand is valued at RMB 865 million).

Sanya, located in a tropical area with an annual average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and an average of 7 hours of sunshine per day, is known as the best area in China for mango cultivation.

Currently, Sanya City has over 25,000 hectares of mango plantation lands. The city’s annual mango output reaches over 560,000 tons of more than 10 mango varieties.

Sanya’s mango season generally runs from early February until June. Sanya’s mangoes are sold throughout all provinces in China and exported to overseas markets including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Russia.
