Sanya attends 25th World Route Development Forum
A Sanya delegation comprised of representatives from the Sanya International Airport and the Sanya Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television, and Sports attended the 25th World Route Development Forum 2019 from September 21st to 24th in Adelaide, Australia. The delegation’s attendance at the forum was intended to help attracted highly desired new flight routes and to increase the frequency of flights between Sanya and other international destinations.
A Sanya promotional booth with presentations and videos was set up at the forum’s “Networking Village,” where they could learn about Sanya’s potential unique travel products and traditional culture.
In addition, representatives from Sanya held a promotional conference presenting the city’s tourism and aviation potential in order to boost and promote cooperation with international airlines and travel agencies.
During the event, representatives from Siberia Airlines, St. Petersburg Airport, and Indian Airport Group came to talk with Sanya delegates to discuss the possibility of increasing the frequency of flights to Sanya.
World Routes is the world’s largest commercial aviation event and the world’s premier business-to-business aviation conference. The event annually attracts over 3,000 senior-level executives from airlines, airports, tourism boards, economic development agencies, and governments from over 130 countries, where they discuss air service development opportunities.
